Before we introduce our fabulous and elegant DJ, here are a list of our fave songs that we jam to on the daily.

Wedcoupon’s list of party-work-rock-wedding anthems/best wedding pump up tunes:

Call Me Maybe, Carly Rae Jepsen

Don’t Stop Believing, Journey

Push It, Salt n Peppa

Let’s Get It Started, Black Eyed Peas

You Know You Make Me Wanna Shout, Little Richard (sorry we had to)

Name: Ed Witles

Hometown: Glen Burnie

Company Name: The Elegant DJ (Washington DC DJay)

Occupation: DJ/Owner

WC: How did your company start?

EW: 1990

WC: What is the most satisfying part of your job?

EW: Blending of cultures and watching families come together. Meeting some of the best people.

WC: What is your favorite wedding (bridal) look?

EW: Vintage all the way. I recently had an Audrey Hepburn themed bride – her wedding gown, hair and jewelry. I am also a huge fan of colored converse sneakers on the groomsmen (and even full bridal party).

WC: What is your favorite groom look this year?

EW: Nod back to the styles of simpler days… 1920’s, bow ties, vests… both on the formal and casual side.

WC: What do you see being a huge wedding trend for 2012 and 2013 Weddings (relevant to your industry)?

EW: More couples will be going for that ‘hip’ vibe (unique to their personal style) but still wanting traditional touches, fun being a priority. I also see a lot of up lighting, and dance lights coming back into the mix for the dance reception!

WC: Any advice to couples as they plan their wedding?

EW: While it’s your big day, it’s good to “think like a guest”. Making your guests feel appreciated will leave a positive, lasting impression.

There is a great sales event for you Washington DC Brides, Grooms and Planners on Wedcoupon now
